Has anyone seen the newest animation "Avatar"? My family wants to see the movie because the graphics on the previews look amazing, however I pulled up just a random review about the movie that made it sound as though there was an underlying political/religious agenda. We purchased the movie "Terra" a few months ago, another digital animation with amazing graphics, however this animation in our opinion clearly attacked the church. In retrospect, it's not a movie we would have purchased. So we are hesitant to spend the money to watch yet another movie that may be pleasing to the mind, yet attacking on our hearts. Just wondering if anyone else had seen it and had any insight as to what kind of underlying messages the movie may be trying to push.

I was hoping that someone with an actual answer would reply... I've heard similar things about Avatar, but haven't seen it. If you did go to see it, I'd love to hear what you thought. I have some Christian friends who saw it and loved it. Others said the graphics were great but they didn't like the political undertones.
